The 10th Annual Taste of Lakeville Celebration
The Lakeville Rotary provides financial support to address the needs of our community. It is the belief of the Lakeville Rotary Club that we can best serve our community by focusing our efforts on scholarships and community projects.
It is our vision that the funds we award meet one of the following criteria:
To reach out in helping our family units stay strong
To give back to seniors so that they can live a full life in their golden years
To help take care of those in a critical time of need.
To enhance the educational experience.
Proceeds from this event build the Lakeville Rotary Foundation, which in turn awards funds to many deserving applicants, including but not limited to:
- Lakeville High School Scholarships for graduating seniors ($25,000)
- STRIVE Scholarships at both Lakeville High Schools ($10,000)
- Lakeville Area Public Schools: Student of the Month at both high schools, SADD, music programs, Science Olympiad, Mock Trail, playground equipment, senior class and after-prom parties., student participation in Camp Enterprise and Camp Ryla
- Dakota County Library: Hot Reads for Cold Nights
- Dakota County Vo-Tec Emergency Aid Plan
- Sobriety High School
- Lakeville Area Scouts
- Lakeville Senior Citizen Center
- Lakeville Education Foundation
